EOTD : Neutral with a pop of colour !!

Hi dear, today i am going to share my most favourite eye make up look with you all. Its a neutral day time look with a pop of colour.

As i am associated with academic organization , that is why i cannot wear many colours on my eyes at work. But this look is my favourite . I can add any coloured eye liner to give a life to my regular neutral eye make up. you can use emarald green , turquoise , navy blue , bronze , purple , aqua , you have many options dear !!

You can also add more drama to this look by putting a heavy kohl in your eyes. But most of the time , i want it to be clean and simple. Add peach blush and lipstick with this look and you are ready to go !!

EOTD &Review : Flower Brown Circle lens

Hi girls , i can never get enough when it comes to contact lenses and eye makeup products. Right now i am going through a phase of brown coloured lenses which is a quick and easy way to enhance the beauty of your eyes. Not agreed yet , have a look below :

My thoughts :

I am a working lady , that is why i prefer natural looking lenses. What i love most about these that they are really comfortable , i can wear them to a night out without any worries. Second thing is its pattern and colour. I have dark brown eyes already . And these lenses naturally enhances my eyes colour. It is more a yellow brown colour which gives a honey shade in certain lightnings. The pattern is a swirly flower design which is not so obvious when worn but looks very pretty. They blends really well with my eyes. 

Despite the fact that these are only 14.00mm in diameter but they enlarges my eyes pretty well and without giving alien eye or bug-eyed effect.

EOTD , Review & Swatches : k-palette shiny star eyes berry star eyeshadow !!

Hey girls , What is under spotlight today ? It is k-palette shiny star eyes eyeshadow quad in Berry star.

K-palette is a japenese cosmetic brand which produces quality products , their products are among the best selling products in Asia.


Product Description :

An eye colour palette with excellent texture and graduating tones to create different looks – metallic, smoky, luscious. Mix and highlight to bring out the contour of the eyes for a fascinating effect

Packaging :
The packaging is very sturdy and compact. It does not contain any mirror inside , it means you have to carry separate mirror , in case you are travelling.

On backside , everything is written in Japanese. anyone translate it for me please !!!

 Applicator :
Its sponge tip applicator is one of its kind. One side is a regular applicator and the other side is a flat pointy applicator , which makes it easy to apply under lower lashes or tear duct. I have never seen such kind of applicator in any eyeshadow palette like this .

My thoughts : 
I was looking for a mauve eyeshadow palette for everyday wear. This palette have 3 shades of mauve in it. First one is a bright lilac shade with blue undertones. The second one is a dull mauve shade with grey undertones. Third shade is a dark mauve shade and is  the darkest among them and have black grey undertones. All of them have a silky , creamy texture. The color pay off is excellent .A single wipe is needed for perfect application and it stays put on for a good 5 to 6 hours without eyeshadow base. They does not contain glitters , which makes it more wearable during daytime.

The highlighter shade is a pearl white color and  has a frosty finish . it is the most chalky among the four.

E.l.f Brightening Eye Colour in Day 2 Night : Review , swatches & EOTD and a transformation

Hi my suger plums ,
Recently i got a few e.l.f goodies via my cousin who lives in abroad and bought me so many elf stuff , i will be sharing with you in future. Today i decided to swatch e.l.f brightening eye color quad in day 2 night. These eyeshadows quads are available in 18 different color combos .. is'nt it exciting ?

E.l.f cosmetics is famous for their price tag 1$ , and i have read some rave reviews about their cosmetics that is why  i was really keen to try their products ,

If you are a neutral eyeshadows freak like me than you will really like this eyeshadow quad as it contains one highlighter shade , one dull gold shade and one taupe shade for crease and a black shade for intense depth. The colors given in this palette is great with if you are a working lady or want to have a basic eyeshadow colors in your hand as a beginner.
The colors are much pigmented , and blends easily , but i noticed that the lighter colors are more chalky and falls out more than the darker shades. Lasting power of these eyeshadows is decent , they stay put on for 5 to 6 hours in my case. i like it packaging , its really compact and travel friendly , but the sponge tip applicator included is totally crap. There is a small mirror inside it if you can notice it is under the sponge tip applicator area.

i have created a look using this eye color quad , i did not apply any eyeshadow primer beneath it to show you the real picture :

 i transformed this simple basic neutral eye make up look into a party look with just a few additions . I applied a turquoise eye shadow under my lower eyelashes and put on my turquoise berry holic circle lenses ( review here ) lets see how it look after this :

With a little effort , you can easily change your boring neutral everyday eye make up into a more interesting look :

This was the look i wore on Eid day but could not post it because i had to attend so many guests at my place :)

The packaging is really cute and looks like a little box filled with all the sweetness and kindness..

It contains the following items :

My thoughts about Lip gloss :
you can see it fits in my palm , so you can easily measure its size . This one is my favorite lip gloss these days on the go.It looks darker in the tube but in real ,  it is a sheer lip gloss with a reddish pink tint and red and golden specks in it . It looks gorgeous when applied on bare lips or over any nudy pink lipstick. It is a flavoured lip gloss , it is really yummy to apply on your lips , but after one or two hours the smell and flavor of strawberry fades and what left behind is a petroleum jelly kind of smell. It can keeps my lips moisturised for 4, 5 hours.

The applicator given is also good and helps in precise application. No doubt the color is really gorgeous.Here is a swatch of this on my hand :

 My thoughts about Pigments :


The pigments are named on the mouth watering sweet treats. The pigments contains very fine shimmer or glitter particles , the darker colors are more easy to apply and lasts longer too . The lighter shades can be build up according to your need. I also felt that darker colors are long lasting too ( i used them without primer ) and they lasts longer , but lighter shades ( specially creamcicle ) fades away after two hours of application . You can increase their lasting power by applying a good eye shadow power beneath. They are blendable but look out for the fall outs as they are loose pigments. It comes in sifter containers that is why there is no need to worry about waste of product. Some of her pigments are vegan and some are not and it is clearly mentioned on the website.

 The pigments are vibrant in color and looks gorgeous on eyes.

I cannot decide which one is my favourite ,,, errr i guess all of them . I also played with them and created an simple yet colourful EOTD look :

I used creamcicle on my whole eye lid till browbone and then applied macaron on my half lid , below lower lashes i used licorice and popsicle. I did not use any eyeshadow primer for this look. FYI , i am wearing beuberry diva violet circle lenses ( read review here )

Christine Single color eyeshade: Review & EOTD

Hey girls this is a mini review of one of my favorite eyeshadow. I am in love with Khaki eye shades or eye pencils and christine eyeshadow is the most cheapest and affordable eyeshadow i have in Khaki shade.

Christine Cosmetics is a Pakistani brand and this is very popular among Pakistani girls because of their affordable range of products. I love their nail colors alot.

Christine eye shades are available in a variety of colors . I bought mine from Imtiaz Super Store for just 50 Rs. ( less than a Dollar ) . It has a velvet finish and looks great when applied wet.

I would not claim that it is the best eye shade . But it is worth the money you have paid for it. If you are looking for an affordable eyeshadow to just throw in your travel bag to carry around this is the one . It has a transparent plastic lid which is flip open. This is shade C-023

On the back the ingredients are mentioned. It is always good to know whats inside your product. 

I applied this eye shade in the following picture, I applied christine eyeshade wet. The color is not so long lasting but it can be increased if you apply it wet or on a good eyeshadow base.

Mabrook 36 Colors Eye Shadow Palette : Review & EOTD

I was looking for a makeup palette which should contain all bright colors with shimmery finish then i came across Mabrook Eye Shadow Palette. Mabrook is an Arabic brand , i have some of their eye and lip liner pencils which are good too I bought Mabrook 32 colors eyeshadow palette for Rs. 400 pkr from a local cosmetic store located in Millenium Mall.

Its Packaging is good and slim. It comes with a square shaped kit with a wide mirror inside. and two sponge tip applicators.

It contains 36 eyeshadows , All placed separately and have good quantity of eyeshadows. They are divided in 3 rows . First row contains colors from white to black and then more neutral shade. Second Row contains three shades of orange , rust and copper and different shades of pinks and magenta. Thirds row starts with a beautiful shade of olive and a bright yellow , along with four shades of greens and four shades of blues.

All colors are very vibrant and pigmented too. Some of these eye shadows have frosted finish , some have semi matte finish and some are shimmery. but each color is blendable and very pigmented .But the only downside is its fall outs. They fall outs more often.




I used to apply them dry but they did not stay in place longer enough without any eyeshadow base. Then i used them with wet sponge tip applicator and it not only increased its blending power but also staying power. All colors applies very smoothly when applied with wet sponge tip applicators . I would recommend that do not use it with other eye shadow brushes , they will not give good results. Some times I like to apply them as color eyeliners too . Just dip your eyeliner brush first into water then any color of your choice and you have got a cool color liner which long lasting, smudge proof and easy to apply. ( All shades of blues and greens looks beautiful when applied as a liner )

.I have created one eye makeup look using this palette. I have not used any eyeshadow base.Keep in mind that I am not a professional makeup artist , I am still in a learning phase .
