Beauty & Skin Care Haul !!

Hola Girls,

I went to Bin Hashim yesterday because I needed few things badly.  The weather is getting drier and colder here and I need to get some moisturizers etc. Bin Hashim Super Market is near by my home and from there I get my most of the skin care and hair care stuff.

That's what I got from there:

Schwarzkopf Bona Cure Shampoo suits my chemically treated hairs very well. I also wanted to buy its conditioner but it was not out of stock so I had to repurchase Loreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Conditioner.

The cosmetics that are shown above are bought from two different places. The Color Studio Pro Dip Liner and Essence Long Lasting Lipstick is bought from Imtiaz super market few days before. I ordered  Color Studio Lipstick and Luscious Signature Lipstick from daraz.pk . ( more details will be coming in next post )

Hi girls,

I got my hairs chemically straightened four months back, and my hair stylist recommended me Schwarzkopf bonacure repair rescue shampoo and conditioner. I started using it on her recommendation and since then no looking back. Wants to know why ?

My Experience:

I always thought that shampoos are only meant to cleanse your hair but I was wrong. This is not just a shampoo. It is a life saver for my damaged hairs after hair relaxing treatment. The first time I washed my hairs using this shampoo , I felt that I am pouring liquid silk into my hands and my hairs never felt so silky, smooth and tangles free after rinsing. It worked like a charm for my hairs. It lathers up really well and only a small amount is needed to wash my mid back length hairs.

It comes with a price tag Rs.950 which might sound expensive for just a shampoo. But it worth every penny I pay for it.  I have been using it since 4 months and one bottle is enough for two to three months depends on how often you wash your hairs. For me , it is like a life saving medicine for my dull, lifeless hairs after hair relaxing treatment.

After four months of continuous use, my hairs does not have any split ends, hair falls is very minimum , becomes stronger in general. My hairs are more manageable now and tangles free.  I would highly recommend this shampoo to every one who is looking for a solution for their dry and damaged hairs. This stuff is serious girls.

Mini Beauty Haul !

Hi, to all my lovely readers,
Weather is still hot in my part of the world as the rest are already enjoying fall and winter arrival. In Karachi , weather is dry and humid for most of the year and winter comes for just few months. I went to Imtiaz super market last weekend and could not resist my urge to buy myself few products. Lets see what I got from there :

In case you are wondering why did I mention a baby lotion in a beauty blog? well I am using Johnson's Baby Lotion as a make up removing and mild cleanser for ages. I found baby lotion less greasy as compare to other make removers and cleansers available in market. They leave my skin baby soft as well as very efficient in removing dirt and make up from my skin. It is a part of my night time beauty ritual.

I will be reviewing these products after usage. I have developed an habit of using products for 2 to 3 weeks before writing any review post. Review : Schwarzkopf Osis+ Flatliner Serum

Hello to all the gorgeous ladies out there !!

I am going through a "Straightening" phase of my life , and i am trying each possible way to get my hair straight. My natural hairs are wavy in texture . I like them the way they are, but nowadays i have this straigtening fever on my mind .... so girls !! stay tuned and expect more straight reviews on straightening products straight from my heart ;) hhahah ... i am enjoying what i just wrote. Coming back to the topic.

I went Chase up departmental store few days back. I was in search of a straightening serum , thats why i bought Schwarzkopf Osis+ Flatliner Serum . I bought it for Rs. 780 Pkr ...

Schwarzkopf ( dont know how to pronounce it lol)  is a leading brand which offers a wide range of hair care & styling products. I also have a hair spray from this brand , and i pretty much like it.

Packaging :


 I really like its packaging. It comes in a spritz shiny metallic bottle which contains 200ml of the product. It is very easy to hold and use. A lock system is given on the nozzle so you can close it to prevent any accidential wastage of the product.

My Thoughts :


I used this serum yesterday to get my hairs straight , I sprayed it all over my hairs and let it dry on its own for few minutes. Then i used a hair straightener and it makes straightening way easy for me. I helps in straightening and also keeps my hairs straight for more than 10 hours . Needless to say that,  Its meant to be used for straightening purpose only.

 I am pretty much satisfied with this product. It does not make my hairs dry or frizzy , it also protects hairs for heat damage . It makes my hairs straight without making them stiff or rough. I noticed that my straightener was  gliding more easily and producing better results with this serum. It has a strong smell but it just disappeared after few minutes.

Jumping towards the pros and cons :

Pros:

• makes straightening easy and quicker
• makes hairs shiny
• hairs looks more shiny and healthy
• affordable price
• easy to use 
• protection lock on the nozzle
• provides protection from heat damage
• meant for straightening purpose only

Cons:

• Excess amount of spray can weigh down your hairs
• strong smell

Bottom line :

This product worked for me . I am using this regularly to get my hairs straighted. You can not use this product alone. You need to use a straightener with it. It makes straightening process way more easy and produces better results . I would recommend it to those who are looking for a straightening serum or spray .
