Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector For Normal Skin vs Oily Skin : Comparison & Swatches

When I mentioned Garnier BB cream for oily skin in my summer essentials post last month, few of my readers asked me on facebook how different it is from the original Garnier BB cream. So I thought it would be beneficial for all my readers if I compare it on my blog.

Garnier BB cream miracle skin perfector : original vs oil free

Packaging:
Both versions comes in squeeze tubes. The difference is in their appearance. The oil free one is slimmer and taller than the original one. Also I noticed that original have 50 ml of product in it, and oil free has 40 ml product. The original comes with a flip open cap where oil free has a twist open cap which creates more mess as the product inside is runny and sometimes it just pour out of it on its own.

Formula:
Garnier BB cream for oily skin has a thin, runny and more watery formula. It blends completely in a jiffy so you have to be quick otherwise it leaves certain patches on skin. It does not feel sticky on skin. On the other hand , the other one has a creamy consistency and looks more like a cream foundation to me. It gives a dewy finish which I love. I set it off by applying a matte transculant powder on it.

Coverage:
 Both have SPF in it. Both provides light to medium coverage and conceals uneven skin tone, scars etc partially. If you want more coverage you can set it off with your favorite compact powder.


I first bought the oil free one in shade MEDIUM , but it is darker than my skin tone. It has peach undertones. The shade LIGHT is perfect for my skin tone. I sometimes mix  both of them to achieve a semi matte finish or use the bb cream for normal skin alone and set it off with makeup fixing powder. Both of them looks very natural and does not gives you a made up look. Here are the swatches. The top one is oil free and bottom one is for normal skin.

My Favorite ?
I have oily skin but I love the medium coverage that I get from Garnier BB cream for normal skin. It gives such a healthy glow or you say dewy finish. I use makeup setting powder on it and it stay put on me for whole day. I just need to re touch my oily T zone area few times. I guess I love it more than the oily free formula.

Review : Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Healthy Naturals Concealer in Beige

hey girls , please forgive me for being disappeared from this world of blog , i was extremely busy and there was so much to do in my personal life. Lets move on , good news is that i have got some new stuff and i will be sharing these with you in a couple of days , so stay tuned !!

Today i am going to review Maybelline clear smooth minerals healthy naturals concealer. I got this accidently , as my fiancee was on a business trip to Thailand, i asked him, to buy me foundation of this range of maybelline products but by mistake he bought this concealer from watson's Thailand. But i am glad that he made this mistake , want to know why ? just read it below :

Packaging :

The packaging of this concealer is really compact , it is smaller than a tube of lip gloss and you can easily carry it along with you and use it on the go. It come with a duo fiber bent applicator , just like any other lip gloss applicator , which makes it easy to use only where it is needed, you can apply it in dots and blend it with your fingers and it does not go wasted at all.

My experience :

As i said earlier in this post that i wanted to get a foundation of this range but i accidently got this . But i am using it now every day and do not leave home without this . I apply it under my eyes and to hide my acne scars etc. It has a thick consistency , which made it easy to apply and it does not run down. It also blends easily and gives medium to full coverage. It is a mineral concealer , that means it does not clog my pores . It gives me a healthy look and wakes me up when i applies it under my eyes. After using this , i had to apply only a little amount of loose mineral foundation and i am good to go on my work everyday .

It is available in six natural shades. I have got shade medium beige.

This product is available at all the leading stores . I got mine from watson's Thailand for around 150 baht. ( correct me if i am wrong , as i forgot the actual price)

Review : Pure Beauty Jasmine Water BB Cream

Hey my sweeties , today i am going to review my latest addiction , Pure Beauty Jasmine Water BB cream .. Now i guess most of you did not know much about a bb cream .. a bb cream ( blemish balm cream ) is very famous among Asian ladies these days . Why ?? because it helps to sooth skin and regenerate skin , in the meanwhile it acts as a sunscreen , moisturizer , gives coverage like a foundation. I read many reviews about bb creams and feel that every blogger is talking about it . Thats why i decided to get my hands on a bb cream . I asked my fiance ( who was on a tour to Thailand ) to bring me a good bb cream. He bought me Pure beauty Jasmine Water bb cream . At first i just wanted to try it , but now i feel like wearing it every day when going out . I would call it a miracle cream. Why ? find it below :

Packaging : 

The packaging is very cute and classy. It is lilac and have flower patterns all over. It comes in a 30 ml squeeze tube with a silver twist cap. It is easy to carry around and put in your travel bag. The tube is not fully filled with the product . What i feel that there is just 70% of the cream is present in the tube.

On the back side product description , usage , caution and storage information is given . It is readable in the below picture so i do not feel like writing it again .

My thoughts :


Pure beauty Jasmine water bb cream is a  triple action cream, It protects my skin with 30 spf , moisturizes and gives coverage of a foundation..
This is my first bb cream so i can not make any comparisons , I can just give my opinion about this particular cream. I do not have blemishes on my face ( Thank God ) just one of two acne scars and discoloration. This product makes my life easy. Now i just pour a tiny amount of product and apply it with my fingers all over. After that i blend it my Sigma F80 flat top kabuki brush. and what i get a flawless skin. It gives medium coverage , and a moist look. It feels very light on skin and i feel like wearing no makeup on my skin ( Hurray for that ).
 It dries quickly so you have to work faster otherwise you will get a whitish mask like thing on your face. At first i just wanted to give it a try , but now i feel like wearing it everyday when going out.
I am using this product for a week now on daily basis , it did not break me out till now. It does not give oily look. My skin feels smoother and great after using this. Pure beauty jasmine water bb cream is only available in one shade , which is one notch lighter than my original skin but when blended properly it does not feel lighter. Here is a swatch of this bb cream :

Jumping towards Pros and Cons :

Pros :

• afforable as compare to other bb creams

Cons : 

•  available in only one shade ( tanned people would have problem with this )
• Not available in Pakistan
• should have come with flip open cap instead of twist open cap.

Price and Availability :

Pure Beauty Jasmine water BB cream is easily available at all watson's store for around 400 Bahts ( around 1200 Pkr )

My recommendation :

Yes , if you want to skip layers of sun block , moisturizer , foundation from your daily makeup routine and wear only one product.
