My Thoughts :

I bought this eyeliner few months back from local market, when I was going crazy after color eyeliners. I swatched it on Christine counter and instantly fallen in love with its gorgeous turquoise color. It also has a tiny shimmers in it which looks very beautiful when dries up. The applicator brush is very thin and draws a neat line around eyes. The consistency of this product is a but thin that is why it needs to layer it twice or thrice to get opaque line. It has a mild fragrance too which is like rose water. It does not smudge or transfer once dried.

This eyeliner claims to be water proof and hypoallergenic. The water proof claim is not true but I don't care about it as I got a gorgeous eyeliner to add a pop of color in my eyes in a steal price of Rs. 200 . What could you ask more for Rs. 200 , seriously ?

I have been using it a lot lately as with a toddler around I cannot spend much time on my eye makeup as I previously used to do. So a colored liner is a brilliant way to make up your eyes beautiful without spending more time infront of mirror. Just a swipe of this colored liner on my eyelids, some kohl in my eyes, my favorite coral lippie and I am good to go on shopping , outing and any where else.

My Thoughts:

I just bought on the go when I last visited Chase Up store. When I opened its cardboard packaging I was very disappointed to see that a very sleek and smaller tube comes out. which looks like a sample or travel size product. I expected something bigger as I paid Rs. 255 for it. Regardless, its weight which is only 18 gms , the overall packaging is very sleek, girly and eye catching. it looks very similar to other products offered in the range of Pond's White Beauty.

I was also hesitant to buy this because it only comes in one shade. I was afraid first then bought it just to try it for once. But I am glad that I bought it. It does not have any fragrance at all. The formula Is very good. It is non sticky, very light weight, absorbs quickly and instantly brightens up my face. It provides medium coverage. It means I can easily skip my concealer for under eye circles and small scars while using this. It blends very well into the skin and provides flawless skin within minutes. The formula is very good for my combination to oily skin. It does not break me out. Needless to say , moisturize first, if you have dry skin. It also have SPF 30 which protects skin from harmful sun rays. It comes in one shade only , but it suits very well to my skin shade.

Fairness claim is not true as it just brightens up my complexion. I have been using it continuously for more than two weeks now and did not notice any improvement in my complexion. However , scars seems to fade away a little bit. Here is the list of ingredients for those who are curious about it:

My thoughts :

First thing that I noticed when I swatched it in essence counter was its yummy vanilla scent. Its so tempting that I instantly wanted to lick my lips after applying this lip gloss. If you are a flavored lip gloss freak like me than you will going to love it for sure. Another thing that took my heart, is its super shine and gorgeous color. Its a bright coral shade which leans more towards peach. But it is not pigmented enough. It just gives sheer coverage when applied on bare lips.  It also has fine gold shimmers which is not noticeable when applied but looks fabulous on lips. It is not sticky nor it gathers in the corners of lips. The only thing that bothers me is its longevity. I wish if it could stayed put for longer hours. It stays for maximum 2 hours then fades away.

Over all, Its a nice addition to my lippies collection. I will be looking to get my hands on more shades from this range.

Hi to all of you, i have not did any nail post in ages so i thought its the right time to show you what i am sporting on my nails today. Its Blue It from Sally Hansen Hard as Nails xtreme wear polish.

 I love wearing bright colors in spring and summers so this is gonna be my favorite one this season. I applied two coats to get opaque coverage. it is glossy and i am loving it.

I got it as a present few months back. If you are a blue lover like me than you will like it for sure. It does not chip off for 4 to 5 days on my nails. that's a plus point for me as i am a busy mom and does not have time to change nail colors so often.

Review :Maybelline Eye Studio Eyeshadow Duo in Lilac Lolita

Summer is right here and its time to take out your breezy outfits in soft and pastel colors. I love wearing pastels in summer and this is the one reason that i picked  Maybelline eyestudio eyeshadow duo in lilac lolita last summer. Due to my pregnancy and then looking after a newborn baby, i could not use it before. It was there in my stash until noticed it few days back. I have used it few times and its already a winner for me. Lets see why it won my heart.

It comes in a square plastic case with transparent lid. No mirror or applicator brush is present. I liked that the packaging is travel friendly and fits any of my makeup bags easily. Its a limited edition shade and called as Lilac Lolita 50.

 My Experience:
I really likeits name. Its very feminine. Lolita reminds me of an epic lovestory. It has two shades of baked eyeshadows. One is pale lilac which appears to be pearl white in these swatches.It works as a highlighter for me. The other one is marbelized one with lavender and grey texture. Both have satin finish. The formula is very silky to touch and fall out is minimal.  You can mix and match both shades to get what you desire. I like wearing pastels alot during summers and this is one reason that i love it too much. Color pay off is good and blends without much effort. They lasts for a good 4 to 5 hours on my eyes without any primer. You can also increase color intensity and weartime by using a eyeshadow primer before. Here is the swatch below:

 Overall, its a good product by maybelline. I would love to buy few more shades of this range. I bought it for Rs.700 from local market.

Review: Glamorous Face Matte Waterproof Eyeliner

I want my eyeliner to be blackest black, smudge proof, and stay put for long hours. It could not be better if it comes with a cheap price tag. Lets see if Glamorous Face Matte Waterproof eyeliner fulfills my needs or not.

The packaging is very simple and sleek. It comes in a black tube which is very travel friendly and fits in any of my makeup pouch or clutch easily. I am very glad to see that they have mentioned ingredients and expiry date too on the tube.Its also stated that its a HALAL product, in case you are curious about that. I wish if it was ophthalmologically tested too. So i could wear it more often or with my contacts lenses too. The brush wand is long enough for precise application.

My Experience:
The liner brush tip is very thin and flexible which effortlessly draws thin or thick lines around eyes. The color is a matte black just the way i like it. What bothers me is its synthetic smell which goes away within few minutes of application. It dries quickly so i do not need to close my eyes longer and wait. After it dries, It feels like i have pasted something on my eyes and my lashes or lids are stretching. The waterproof claim is partially true. The eyeliner is smudge proof but not waterproof. It does comes off easily if you rub it with water but does not smudge or give raccoon eyes. It comes off like some paint or thin plastic particles. I have been wearing it to some parties and casual day outs in summer heat and it bears it all. It makes it an everyday eyeliner but on special occasions or summer day outs. I would rather go for my other waterproof eyeliner. Here is the swatch :

Overall, i have mix feelings for this eyeliner. It partially does what it claims. If you are looking for something cheaper then you may like it. I would rate it 3/5

My thoughts :

First of all , packaging is very eye catching . It is sturdy , classy and sleek. They have included a small size mirror inside which makes it very travel friendly.

 It contains one highlighter shade and one contour shade divided into two. The idea of putting highlighter and contour shade in one product is really great. Now you do not have to carry two different products with you. They have silky smooth texture , which easily blends into skin. The shades are just perfect to suit any complexion. Previously, i was using a matte brown eyeshadow for contouring and a beige white shadow for highlighting. But it makes my life easier and hassle free. It really compliments my wheatish complexion .

Motives - Shape & Sculpt Duo

As you can see in the above picture , it does not contain any kind of glitter or shimmer in it . It is a matte shade with silky finish. You can easily control the depth , if you want it to give you a naturally contoured cheeks , apply it with a light hand . You can increase the intensity as much as you like.

There is no applicator or brush is provided , but i think my Sigma Flat top kabuki brush works great with it.

Hi girls , Today i am going to review a much talked about product by E.l.f cosmetics , healthy glow bronzing powder in luminance . Healthy glow bronzing powder is available in 4 shades . I got Luminance , which is the lightest shade of the lot , it seems to be a more highlighter shade to me than a bronzer, lets see what do i have to say about this :

Using e.l.f. professional blush brush, lightly brush over powder, tapping off any excess. Apply to cheeks and across bridge of nose and forehead. Blend with Total Face Brush to insure seamless application.

Packaging :
E.l.f healthy glow bronzing powder is available in a compact packaging which looks really ordinary , it has a transparent flip open lid, and does not contain any applicator brush. I guess e.l.f cosmetics concentrated more on the product inside instead of packaging . Be careful while using this product , as it seems to be made by really cheap plastic material and can be broken easily if falls down accidently .

My thoughts :
This product was bought for me by one of my cousin living abroad, i asked her to buy few random products of e.l.f products in accordance to my skin complexion. And i am glad that she made right choices for me . I am not a bronzer person , and Luminance is a shade which is not exactly a bronzer shade for me . It has a beige color with gold shimmers . It is the lightest shade of bronzer that i came across in my life. I love to put this bronzing powder to highlight my cheeks after blush application. and i love the glowing effect it creates on my medium complexion . It stays put on me for atleast 4 to 5 hours . Its texture is buttery smooth and blends easily using a blush brush. I also love the embossed e.l.f name on top of the bronzing powder ,it looks really classy , i did not expect this from a 1$ product.

Over all , it is a product worth trying and i feels that it is a great addition to my vanity case without doing a hole in my pocket :)

E.l.f Brightening Eye Colour in Day 2 Night : Review , swatches & EOTD and a transformation

Hi my suger plums ,
Recently i got a few e.l.f goodies via my cousin who lives in abroad and bought me so many elf stuff , i will be sharing with you in future. Today i decided to swatch e.l.f brightening eye color quad in day 2 night. These eyeshadows quads are available in 18 different color combos .. is'nt it exciting ?

E.l.f cosmetics is famous for their price tag 1$ , and i have read some rave reviews about their cosmetics that is why  i was really keen to try their products ,

If you are a neutral eyeshadows freak like me than you will really like this eyeshadow quad as it contains one highlighter shade , one dull gold shade and one taupe shade for crease and a black shade for intense depth. The colors given in this palette is great with if you are a working lady or want to have a basic eyeshadow colors in your hand as a beginner.
The colors are much pigmented , and blends easily , but i noticed that the lighter colors are more chalky and falls out more than the darker shades. Lasting power of these eyeshadows is decent , they stay put on for 5 to 6 hours in my case. i like it packaging , its really compact and travel friendly , but the sponge tip applicator included is totally crap. There is a small mirror inside it if you can notice it is under the sponge tip applicator area.

 i transformed this simple basic neutral eye make up look into a party look with just a few additions . I applied a turquoise eye shadow under my lower eyelashes and put on my turquoise berry holic circle lenses ( review here ) lets see how it look after this :

With a little effort , you can easily change your boring neutral everyday eye make up into a more interesting look :

This was the look i wore on Eid day but could not post it because i had to attend so many guests at my place :)

On a final note , i think this eye brightening color does what it claims and a decent product if you want to have a neutral everyday colors !

Today i am going to review Rockies blush by Vasanti Cosmetics . Lets see what do i think of this product :

What i love most about this blusher that it is neatly packaged in a silver steel box , which is really compact and relatively smaller in size as compare to other blushers . Which makes it easy to carry around and throw in your travel bags.

The size of this blusher is not more than 2 inches . Its silver steel packaging makes it look more elegant and stylish.

It contains a small mirror inside it , brush is not included , I guess it is a plus point because most of the brushes which are included in blushers are useless and i just throw them away straighly. You need to carry a blusher brush of your own whenever you are travelling.

My thoughts :

As i told you earlier that i am a great fan of Vasanti cosmetics packaging. The color of this blusher is a true coral shade with a gold sheen added to it. It looks beautiful on my warm beige complexion when applied with light hand . The color is buildable according to your taste and needs. It blends flawlessly and gives no streaks look.

On their website it looks more peachy color than pink , but in real it is more a coral shade with pink hues.
