Hi lovelies, I just realized that I have bought so many essence products lately. And It just happened unintentionally. I always go for make up shopping and the Essence counter attracts me like a magnet and I could not help it but cant leave it without buying any product. The reason behind all this is that their products are very reasonably priced and offers great quality. I was looking for a warm red lippie for this winter season and bought Essence Longlasting Lipstick On The Catwalk. Lets see if it won my heart or not  ?

Packaging :

Essence Long lasting lipsticks comes in a black tube with a ring running across its center which shows the color of the lipstick. The packaging is very cute and does not look cheap or flimsy at all. The lipstick itself has a logo of essence carved on it. which I found in high end lippies mostly. The bottom of the lipsticks shows the details about shade name and weight information.

My Thoughts:

The shade is very pretty. I did not have something similar in my stash so this shade is unique for me. Its a warm berry red which has a slight sheen in it. It has a sheer coverage so you can build up how intense you want it to be. The color will suit every skin tone specially warm complexions. If you are scared of red lipsticks then you should start wearing a warm berry shade like this as it would be a safer option. The shade compliments my skin tone very well and I know I will be wearing it more often this winter. The formula is very moisturizing . I swatched many lipsticks on that particular day, and this was the most moisturizing lipstick that I had on my hand's swatch. It feels like a balm stick on my lips, glides easily and moisturizes well in this chilly weather. On the other hand, it transfers easily. The staying power is not up to its long lasting claim. But I managed to wear it for a good 3-4 hours with eating and drinking. But I do not mind retouching my lipstick after a meal so that's not a problem for me. Here is a swatch of this on my hand :

Over all, I am very pleased with this lipstick , would buy more shades from this range. Essence never disappointed me so far.
