Life is getting busier day by day. Gone are the days when we carry many different gadgets with us to perform various tasks. Now its all about Hitting two birds by one stone. Today in the spotlight is Pond's Pimple-clear White Multi action face wash. Lets see what does it claims:

My thoughts:

I have been using Pond's Pure White Beauty face wash (review) religiously in summers and love it for sure. On a recent visit to supermarket I spotted new range of Pond's face washes. It was also available in Acne-clear and  anotherone with scrub. I picked up this because I do not have serious acne breakouts rather just one or two occasional pimples. I started using it two weeks back when one pimple appeared near my chin. After first wash, my face instantly felt thoroughly cleansed, toned, brighten up and oil free. I also noticed that my complexion looks even out. It reduced the swollen around pimple area and it disappeared in a two or three days. But I also noticed that it is not much effective in clearing up acne scars but it did heal it really well. I had a few whiteheads and on regular use I noticed that they are also gone away.

The smell is almost identical to Pond's Pure White Beauty Facial Foam which is mild and kind of herbal. The face wash lathers up well and a pea size amount is enough to clean your face and neck efficiently. This is my new love from Pond's range of face washes. Here are the ingredients :

 To sum it up, I would say that its a effective face wash for oily skin, makes skin firmer, toner and brighter. It is a good product if you have few pimples and wants to get rid of them without digging any hole in your pocket.

NOTD: Bling Bling nails

Let me confess , I am not a Pro when it comes to nail art. But I love to practice my nail art skills when ever I get enough time from household chores and a toddler who keeps me occupied all the time. Nail art needs a lot of practice and patience and I am the impatient babe for sure.
I always look for something easier to apply on my nails and make them look festive and bling-y.
I had to attend a close friend's wedding , so I did this nail art yesterday.

 

1. Nail Art Glitter Round Hexagon sheet:

For this nail art, I used the Beautyuk nail polish and nail glitter hexagon round ones and snowflake and a cute bow rhinestoned nail decoration. I just applied two coats of nail polish and while it was still wet decorated my nails with glitters and these metal decorations. Is not it that easy?

 I love these nail glitters. It comes in a plastic lid jar and contains a lot of product. They shifts colors and gives beautiful rainbow effect in sunlight. You can buy these here.

2. Skull Bow Rhinestone nail art decoration wheel:

It comes in a decoration wheel which is very practical in storing these nail art articles individually. It has 10 pcs of metal and rhinestones nail art pieces. It has bows, skulls, snowflakes, key and crown which is decorated with rhinestones and pearls both in silver and gold finish. My favorite ones are skulls and bows. These are easy to apply and stick with wet nail polish or top coat. You can use nail art adhesive for more secure application, but I did not feel the urge to do so.

Review : Himalaya Herbals Clarifying Fairness Face Wash

I bought it along with Himalaya Herbals Whitening face scrub (Review Here) few months back. But tried it last month when I needed something to remove summer tan from myself. Its the perfect time to review as I have almost finished it and can better let you know what is my honest opinion about this product.

What does it claims:

Himalaya’s Clarifying Fairness Facewash is a soap-free, natural formulation that brightens and rejuvenates your skin, giving it a healthy, natural glow.
Enriched with Saffron, proven for its complexion enhancing properties, this face wash gives you a fairer and clearer complexion. Pomegranate nourishes, while Mint cools and Cucumber soothes your skin, leaving it refreshed.

Directions for use:

Moisten face, apply a small quantity of Clarifying Fairness Face Wash and gently work up a lather using a circular motion. Wash off and pat dry. Use twice daily.

Suitable for all skin types.

My thoughts:
It comes in regular transparent squeeze tube with green flip open lid. I have been regularly using it for one month now .The first thing that i noticed was a mild fragrance which reminds me of a herbal mixture made with sandal powder and rose water. The fragrance is mild but refreshing. After first wash i noticed that my skin was clean and refreshed. It contains mint which cools and soothes skin. My skin instantly felt relaxed and calmed. It does it job pretty well as a regular face wash. But the Instant Glow factor was missing. The ingredients are all natural and i love natural products. I know that herbal products works slowly But i did not notice any improvement in my complexion ever after one month. It just made it appear cleansed without feeling dry or stretchy. The whitening claim is not correct. I also did not noticed any improvement in my scars or blemishes. I feel sad for that. I wish if it could lighter them a bit.
Over all, it is just an average facial wash which does cleansing part really well and makes skin refreshed but did not live up to its claim on whitening or complexion improvement.

No , i will try some other product.

This bag is made with PU leather which feels soft and sturdy. The bag is black with a portion of sequins present in the front bottom which is divided by a golden zipper with tussels made of some suede material. The back is of leopard print which has small glitters glued on it.The bag is of good quality and sewed well. The zippers are functional and smoothly opens and closes. The size of this bag is medium and it easily carries all my daily essentials. The inner of this bag is made of plain black cloth and have one small pocket and cell phone compartments. What I like most about their website that its easy to navigate and there is a separate link for free shipping products. But I also noticed that most of the products that were present in the free shipping link was mentioned with higher prices than normal. I assumed that they mentioned here products with estimated shipping charges or fixed shipping rate. But what so ever I loved this because it makes you feel relaxed while shopping and you do not have to calculate shipping charges while checkout.

Hi to all of you, i have not did any nail post in ages so i thought its the right time to show you what i am sporting on my nails today. Its Blue It from Sally Hansen Hard as Nails xtreme wear polish.

 I love wearing bright colors in spring and summers so this is gonna be my favorite one this season. I applied two coats to get opaque coverage. it is glossy and i am loving it.

I got it as a present few months back. If you are a blue lover like me than you will like it for sure. It does not chip off for 4 to 5 days on my nails. that's a plus point for me as i am a busy mom and does not have time to change nail colors so often.

Bridal Diaries: What to keep in your wedding purse ?

Are you getting married anytime sooner and wants everything perfect on your big day?. Everything has been planned perfectly but what about incidients and some forgetful moments that can ruin your entire big day or makes you feel nervous and helpless. Here is a list of simple things to keep with yourself in your wedding clutch to avoid any regrets. I am saying this because on my wedding day it happened to me. My tika just fall off from my forhead and now matter how hard i and my bridesmaid tried but it could not be placed properly in place as none of us was carrying glue of bubblegum with us.
I regret ..and i will regret my whole life for not keeping certain things with me in my wedding purse. Now i realize that i must share my experience with everyone else who is getting married in future.

Things to remember:

1. Glue:
Any eyelashes adhesive glue will work if your tika , jhoomer or fake eyelashes fall off.

2. Tissue papers or blotting papers

3. extra hair pins or safety pins

4. A lipstick  for re touches.

5. Your cellphone.

6.  Money.

Review :Maybelline Eye Studio Eyeshadow Duo in Lilac Lolita

Summer is right here and its time to take out your breezy outfits in soft and pastel colors. I love wearing pastels in summer and this is the one reason that i picked  Maybelline eyestudio eyeshadow duo in lilac lolita last summer. Due to my pregnancy and then looking after a newborn baby, i could not use it before. It was there in my stash until noticed it few days back. I have used it few times and its already a winner for me. Lets see why it won my heart.

It comes in a square plastic case with transparent lid. No mirror or applicator brush is present. I liked that the packaging is travel friendly and fits any of my makeup bags easily. Its a limited edition shade and called as Lilac Lolita 50.

 My Experience:
I really likeits name. Its very feminine. Lolita reminds me of an epic lovestory. It has two shades of baked eyeshadows. One is pale lilac which appears to be pearl white in these swatches.It works as a highlighter for me. The other one is marbelized one with lavender and grey texture. Both have satin finish. The formula is very silky to touch and fall out is minimal.  You can mix and match both shades to get what you desire. I like wearing pastels alot during summers and this is one reason that i love it too much. Color pay off is good and blends without much effort. They lasts for a good 4 to 5 hours on my eyes without any primer. You can also increase color intensity and weartime by using a eyeshadow primer before. Here is the swatch below:

 Overall, its a good product by maybelline. I would love to buy few more shades of this range. I bought it for Rs.700 from local market.
