Review: Schwarzkopf Bonacure Repair Rescue Shampoo

Thursday, November 13, 2014
Hi girls,
I got my hairs chemically straightened four months back, and my hair stylist recommended me Schwarzkopf bonacure repair rescue shampoo and conditioner. I started using it on her recommendation and since then no looking back. Wants to know why ?

What it claims :

Repair Rescue Shampoo cleanses damaged hair and recharges it with new strength and elasticity. BC Hair Therapy with Cura + Protein Complex reinforces the hair structure with significantly more strength. Amino Cell Rebuild Technology recovers the hair’s natural elasticity by strengthening the architecture in the hair cell. For strong and supple hair full of healthy shine.

My Experience:

I always thought that shampoos are only meant to cleanse your hair but I was wrong. This is not just a shampoo. It is a life saver for my damaged hairs after hair relaxing treatment. The first time I washed my hairs using this shampoo , I felt that I am pouring liquid silk into my hands and my hairs never felt so silky, smooth and tangles free after rinsing. It worked like a charm for my hairs. It lathers up really well and only a small amount is needed to wash my mid back length hairs.

It comes with a price tag Rs.950 which might sound expensive for just a shampoo. But it worth every penny I pay for it.  I have been using it since 4 months and one bottle is enough for two to three months depends on how often you wash your hairs. For me , it is like a life saving medicine for my dull, lifeless hairs after hair relaxing treatment.

After four months of continuous use, my hairs does not have any split ends, hair falls is very minimum , becomes stronger in general. My hairs are more manageable now and tangles free.  I would highly recommend this shampoo to every one who is looking for a solution for their dry and damaged hairs. This stuff is serious girls.

Mini Beauty Haul !

Friday, October 10, 2014
Hi, to all my lovely readers,
Weather is still hot in my part of the world as the rest are already enjoying fall and winter arrival. In Karachi , weather is dry and humid for most of the year and winter comes for just few months. I went to Imtiaz super market last weekend and could not resist my urge to buy myself few products. Lets see what I got from there :

  • Clean & Clear Clear Fairness Face Wash
  • Loreal Paris Total Repair 5 Conditioner
  • Vaseline Healthy White Instant Fair Body Lotion
  • schwarzkopf repair rescue shampoo
  • Johnsons Baby Lotion with Milk & Rice
In case you are wondering why did I mention a baby lotion in a beauty blog? well I am using Johnson's Baby Lotion as a make up removing and mild cleanser for ages. I found baby lotion less greasy as compare to other make removers and cleansers available in market. They leave my skin baby soft as well as very efficient in removing dirt and make up from my skin. It is a part of my night time beauty ritual.

Beauty on a budget : Best buys under 500 Rs.

Saturday, August 23, 2014
Hi dear, few years back I did a post on few products that could be bought under Rs. 100 and believe me I got many compliments and appreciation from my readers. I know this fact that we live in a country where most of the girls still cannot spend much on beauty and make up accessories. I also kept this fact in mind that online shopping is still out of reach for masses here in Pakistan.  Keeping all this in mind I have gathered few products again that are my favorites and some are included in my holy grail products yet these are affordable and available easily nationwide.

Lets have a look at these :

  • Loreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo and Conditioner - I have been using these two for more than three years now and no looking back since then. Price Around Rs. 220 each

  • Pond's Pimple Clear Face Wash - A multi action face wash that I have repurchased twice. Also mentioned it in my summer essentials price is Rs.250 -  Read Review HERE

  • MUA eyeshadow primer - a very good primer yet affordable Price 250 Rs.

  • Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me - my go to lip balm when I do not feel like doing make up.  I love how it makes my lips soft and kissable. Price Rs. 350

  • Essence All About Matt Transculant Loose Powder - It is a transparent loose powder which can be used as a make up fixer and blending powder. I love how it keeps my make up fresh for hours. Price 550 Rs. Review Coming Soon

  • Essence Kohl Pencil in Black - It is creamy , black , does not tug eyes while applying, the only problem is its staying power. It does not stay put for longer hours or if you have got oily lids. I use it with dusting a little bit black eyeshadow on top of it to make it stay longer. Price Rs. 175 Review coming soon

  • Sweet Touch Sparkling Dust - Its a multi purpose shimmering powder - I use it as eyeshadow pigment , some times as highlighter on top of my blusher. Price Rs. 250 - Read Review HERE

  • Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss in coral delight , Bought it recently and loves how yummy it smells like vanilla cupcakes , its a sheer lipgloss with fine gold shimmers which looks beautiful and reflects light. Price 495 - Review coming soon

  • Miss Rose Cake Eye Liner - its an inexpensive alternative to the infamous Karyolan aqua cake liner . it is not the blackest black but does it job well. Rs. 200

While I am writing this post , several other products are keep coming to my mind which I forgot to capture in the above picture. I guess I would have to write another blog post as a sequal to this one. If you have any product in your favorites list , please do share with me and my readers.

Hair Lab Shampoo : A Medicated Shampoo for thinning, falling & damaged hair: Review

    Friday, May 6, 2011

    Hey girls,

I know beautiful hairs are every girl's dream. Thats why i decided today to review something which is very close to my heart. I was having bad hair issue for a long time . My hairs was dry , damaged  and frizzy. I tried almost each and everything . From desi totkas ( home remedies) to expensive shampoos and conditioner . But nothing was working for me. Then i decided to go to a leading dermatologist of Karachi. He suggested me this shampoo along with an hairspray named as Pillus Hairspray.( i would review that later ). Both worked for me and now i got rid of the problem of falling hairs. My hairs are more manageable , silky and smoother than before. They have stopped falling and i can feel they are stronger and shinier than before.I am using these products for three months now. And i am very happy with its performance.
On my last visit to the dermatologist , i asked him that is this shampoo and hair spray could be used by any girl who has same problem as mine ? he said : yes !!
I thought , this post would help those girls who are facing the same problem of thinning , falling hairs . And i would like to help them at any cost .

How to use :  Use instead of your regular shampoo , gently massage into your scalp with circular motion of your fingers and rise with tap water.

Price & Availability : This Shampoo is available for Rs. 850 at all the leading pharmacies and medical stores of Karachi .I bought mine from  Time Medicos. I know it sounds costly to most of you , but it is a medicated shampoo and its worth it. One bottle would easily lasts for two month.

Recommendation : I would love to buy this again and again

Have anyone tried this shampoo ? share your experience with me , I love your comments :)

    yours truly,

     Jeeya
